Terms of Service

for the DF ADR software. In case of doubt, the German version prevails.

Last updated: 22.10.2026

1. Scope and provider

These terms apply to the trial, the purchase and the subscription of the DF ADR software. The software is provided by DF ADR – owner: Malte Pusback, Bahnhofstraße. 17, 25469 Halstenbek, Deutschland (“we”).

Purchases are processed by Link (Stripe), acting as reseller (“Merchant of Record”): your purchase contract for the license is concluded with Link (Stripe), which issues the invoice and is responsible for payment, invoicing and sales tax. In addition, these terms apply to the use of the software.

Deviating terms of the customer do not apply unless we expressly agree to them.

2. Conclusion of contract

The presentation of licenses on our website is not a binding offer. By completing the checkout you make a binding offer; the contract is concluded with the order confirmation or when the activation code is sent. The contract language is German or English.

3. Trial

The trial is free of charge and runs with all features for 14 days from activation. Afterwards DF ADR continues as a limited demo. There is one trial per person and computer. The trial ends automatically; no costs arise.

4. License

You receive a simple, non-transferable right to use DF ADR on up to 2 computers belonging to you or your company (studio licenses: number of seats as ordered). You can release a computer yourself in the program and move the license to another one.

You may not pass the activation code on to third parties, rent out the software or circumvent the license protection. Decompiling or modifying the software is only permitted where mandatory law allows it.

Scripts, lists and exports created with DF ADR belong to you.

5. Perpetual license

The perpetual license is paid once and can be used without time limit. It includes all updates released within 12 months of purchase. After that you can extend the update entitlement for a fee; without an extension you keep using the last version released within your update entitlement.

6. Subscription

Depending on your choice, the subscription runs for one month or one year and renews automatically for the same term unless cancelled before it ends. All updates are included during the term.

You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current term – via the “Cancel subscription” page, by e-mail or in the payment provider's customer portal. The right to extraordinary termination for good cause remains unaffected. When the subscription ends, DF ADR continues as a demo; your projects are kept.

For the license check, DF ADR briefly checks in online at least every 30 days during a subscription.

7. Prices and payment

The prices shown on the website at the time of the order apply. For consumers these are final prices including statutory VAT; for businesses VAT may be shown separately or handled via reverse charge depending on the country. Subscription fees are due at the start of each term. We will announce price changes for existing subscriptions at least six weeks in advance; you may then cancel as of the date of the change.

8. Activation and system requirements

An internet connection is required once for activation. System requirements are listed on the website. The integration with Pro Tools and Nuendo uses interfaces of these manufacturers; changes to them are beyond our control.

9. Warranty

Statutory rights apply; for consumers in particular the provisions on digital products. We provide updates that are necessary to keep the software in conformity with the contract. For businesses, the limitation period for claims regarding defects of the perpetual license is one year.

10. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health and under the German Product Liability Act. In cases of slight negligence we are only liable for breach of essential contractual obligations (whose fulfilment makes the contract possible in the first place and on which you may rely), limited to the typical, foreseeable damage. We are liable for loss of data only to the extent that it would also have occurred with regular backups.

11. Right of withdrawal

Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal. Details are set out in the refund policy.

12. Final provisions

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers this choice of law only applies insofar as it does not deprive them of the protection of mandatory provisions of the country in which they habitually reside.

If the customer is a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, the place of jurisdiction is our place of business.

Should individual provisions be invalid, the remainder of the contract remains valid.
